PRESENTATION AND LOCATION

 

1.     Technological and Industrial Park Timisoara (PITT) is a project achieved by Timis County Council and ADETIM - Economic Development Agency of Timis County and co-financed by Phare ISF 2001, the National Fund for Regional Development and other financial resources, its purpose being to support  the development of SME’ s in the following fields:

 

*   Software;

*   IT & Communications;

*   Electronics and electrical technology;

*   Automotives and other types of industries that are utilizing advanced and non polluted  technologies;

*   Other production activities using low polluting technologies;

*   Designing, researching & development activities;

*   Logistics;

*   Lohn processing.

 

2.     PITT is the property of the Timis County Council and consists of a land surface about 18.3 ha, completely equipped with international standard infrastructure ofgreen field sites”.

 

3.     PITT offer consist of the leasing of 25 plots, with dimensions sized between 950 square meters (sqm) and 8420 sqm. The total free for leasing surface is about 10.78 ha. Within PITT, there is an Administrative Building (Ground Floor + First Floor) that offers 19 spaces that can be rented for offices and for organizing events in the conference, ceremonious and seminar halls as well 1500 mp of land that could be rented and it is not for concession.

4.     The location advantages:

                                                                                        

*   PITT’s facilities package;

*   Situation in one of the most dynamic cities of Romania;

*   Proximity with the most important sales markets from Eastern and Central Europe;

*  Fast and direct connections with the most significant capitals of the world through the International Airport of Timisoara;

*   The existence of a powerful educational center;

* Local friendly and favorable investments’ environment, sustained by the presence in the Park’s neighborhood, especially, and in the Timis County, generally, of a great number of creditable foreign investors;

*   The social and economical stability of the zone and the existence of a dynamic business’ environment.

 

5.     The total amount of the investment is of 3,7 million Euros.

 

6.     In October 2004 PITT was officially inaugurated. So far there were organized four opened public auctions for plots leasing in the following dates:

 

*   On the 25th of November 2004 and the 20th of January 2005, followed by direct negotiations on the 15th  , respectively the 16 th of each month;

*   On the 7th of September 2005 and the 25th of October 2005.

 

Now we are under the direct negotiation procedure (in the 20th day of each month) in the purpose to lease the available plots at PITT.

 

For renting the spaces within Pitt’s Administrative Building there were organized two opened public auctions on the 12th of January 2005 and the 21st of January 2005, followed by permanent direct negotiations.

 

7.     The Timis County Council, as owner of PITT, mandated the Economic Development Agency of Timis County to assure the Park management and administration.

 

8.     Location:

*   ROAD ACCESS:

*   The Center of Timisoara  – 6 km (on the national road -  DN 6);

*   The cross border point with the European Union  -  Cenad (Romania) - Kiszombor (Hungary) - 75 km;

*   AIR PASSAGE

*   The International Airport “Traian Vuia” from Timisoara - 15 Km.

*   RAILWAY ACCES:

*   North Railway Station Timisoara – 8 km.
